Environmentalism made fun for everyone.

Greenfest Philly is the largest environmental festival in the Philadelphia area. With over 100 exhibitors and vendors, Greenfest is the place to learn about living sustainably while having fun! This event has something for everyone: shopping for local green wares, great food, live music, live demonstrations, kid-friendly activities, and more.

This year marks the 9th annual Greenfest Philly. This free event will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 10AM to 5PM in the historic Headhouse Square.

Festival admission

While regular admission to Greenfest Philly is free of charge our Greencard Festival Package will bring your experience to the next level! This pass includes everything a festival-goer needs to make the most of the event. Over $50 in Greenfest goodies are available for only $30 on the day of the festival at Greenfest Headquarters. Cards are limited so get yours before they sell out!

Cosmic Catering

Cosmic Catering is a full service catering company that believes in only using locally made and grown products. The majority of the company’s ingredients come from an organization called Farm Fresh for Chefs which brings local foods to its doorstep. Farm Fresh for Chefs is a cooperation of many farmers with a wide selection of food items including produce, meats, honey, milk and flowers.

Farm Truck

Farm Truck was built around knowing what is in your food and where it comes from. We spend the time to hand make all of our menu items with quality ingredients and we always go out of our way to do things right. Our produce comes from local farms, our bread from a local bakery, and our coffee is organic, fairly traded and locally roasted.

Kung Fu Hoagies

Kung Fu Hoagies is an all vegetarian and vegan friendly food cart serving South and West Philadelphia. Hoagies, noodles and sides creatively inspired by traditional vegetarian Vietnamese food, served by friendly local Kung Fu addicts.

Lil' Pop Shop

Lil’ Pop Shop's unique ice pops are hand-crafted in small batches from a seasonal assortment of fresh, natural, locally-sourced ingredients. No neon or artificial ingredients or dyes are ever used in our ice pops. Just fresh fruit, sugar, herbs, spices, milk, yogurt and cream.

Little Baby's Ice Cream

Little Baby's is a hand-made, small-batch, super-premium Ice Cream and non-dairy frozen dessert company based in East Kensington, Philadelphia. We specialize in unique and surprising flavor combinations, primarily made from 16% butterfat dairy sourced from Trickling Springs Creamery in Chambersburg, PA and hand-dip them at our shops and from our small fleet of custom Ice Cream tricycles. Lucky Old Soul's

Lucky Old Souls Burger Truck will be grilling up delicious comfort food made with the best local and sustainably produced ingredients. Their "farm to truck" menu features grass-fed beef burgers, hand-cut fries, housemade bacon, housemade veggie burgers, seasonal local vegetables, made from scratch condiments, thick milkshakes, and all-natural artisanal sodas.

Volunteer

We need all the help we can get! Leading up to the event, we will need street outreach teams to put up posters and offer local businesses exhibitor space Greenfest at Philly. By volunteering your time and services for Greenfest, you will be helping to spread environmental awareness to thousands of Philadelphia-area residents, making our city cleaner and greener.

Volunteer Positions
  • Vendor and exhibitor set up—first shift only
  • Recycling and green waste heroes (costumes encouraged!)
  • General questions: directing attendees to bathrooms, water, etc.
  • Assist exhibitors and vendors—throughout the day
  • Vendor and exhibitor break down—last shift only

  • 8AM–12PM
  • 11AM–3PM
  • 2PM–6PM

Green Innovators

SCA, one of Philadelphia’s most sustainable companies, is providing a scholarship fund for Green Innovators in Philadelphia at Clean Air Council’s Greenfest Philly event on Sept. 8, 2013.

Local businesses or organizations will be selected as Philly Green Innovators. The Green Innovators will have the opportunity to exhibit for free at Greenfest and have Greenfest Philly attendees, judges, and YOU vote for your favorite Green Innovator.
